087: Live Free!
As an American, July 4th is and always has been one of my favorite holidays.
I have great memories of childhood July 4th events and shenanigans.
- All-day events at the local park in my hometown as a kid
- Hanging at the pool
- Grilling
- Pop-bottle rockets...Black Cat firecrackers...and Roman candles
- Ooo's and aah's watching fireworks displays
To me, the 4th of July has always been a "blast!" (No pun intended).
And then there's the deeper essence of July 4th - what's relevantly known as Independence Day.
Independence. Freedom. However you celebrate it - I certainly hope you do.
Freedom and independence aren't to be taken for granted...ever!
So, with that in mind, I hope you have a memorable (and safe) July 4th holiday.
Kick back.
Relax.
Eat something good.
And...
Think about the gifts of freedom and independence - globally and, of course, personally.
Also, as I like to say within these brief, holiday-themed, issues:
"Thanks!"
- For being part of our Personal Growth and Longevity (PGL) tribe.
- For taking time to read, reflect on, and share our content.
- For embracing your aging journey with the renewal and fresh energy I hope you gain from each week's issue.
Next week's issue is in the works.
